6 Winter Products You Need

Okay, so perhaps the title is a little in your face but hey I am LOVING these babies. No one is paying me to say that, no one has funded these purchases and no one but me is typing all of this. Effective, pretty & budget friendly; keep reading..

1. I ain't pasty, but unfortunately I'm not naturally sun kissed year round due to my natural habitat ie. Northern Ireland. So this begs the question, to tan or not to tan? Obviously, tan FTW. In winter I love applying St Tropez (here), Bondi Sands (here) or St Moritz (here) to add a drop of warmth to my skin tone however sometimes I feel I need a stronger base = enter Garnier.

It smells lovely, applies easily and is perfect to speedily slather on before slipping into bed. No streaks, no hassle and no bank breaking fortune required. I'll take six, please

2. Pores, otherwise known the bane of my face. I'll happily snag every pore minimising product going but I've refrained as I'm enjoying (this) beauty. Again, at a friendly price point and thankfully effective in deliverance. I apply after I use my favourite brightening primer (from here) and it smoothes the skin, slightly mattes yet polishes it so wonderfully before I slap on my foundation in an attempt to beautify my sleepy face.

3. Gah, ever since the flamboyant Francis in Saks Fifth Avenue sold me my first NARS eyeshadow I've been hooked. This is Himalia (here), and she's simply fab. A truly elegant, easy to apply shadow that's perfect to wear alone for a radiant day look or alternatively to layer with other shades for a more sensual evening look.

FYI: You'll maybe have seen the lovely Lis instagram about it too, here.

4. Someone ship me off to rehab, some (wonderful) support group or rather a large empty Jo Malone stockroom with no CCTV. No, seriously. If you've read my full collection post (here) you'll have seen what I own, wear and pair together. The nights are short, dark & cold and so my body craves heavy scents. This ladies and gents delivers just that. Praise be, Vanilla & Anise is simply unique; it embodies a sensual element of the brand and is just purrrfect for Winter. Basically, ya'll need it! (here)

5. Ok. Now I'm currently blogging FROM that Jo Malone stockroom.....just kidding. The obsession simply continues with the Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt candle (here). Good heavens, this scent is so different from any other classic JM scent yet is so undeniably 'Jo Malone'. I'll admit some of the candles don't sit well with me, but this one is a keeper for anyone seeking a perfect bedroom scent.

6. Finally, hooray I hear you say! Again, you all know I'm a fully fledged lover of Charlotte Tilbury. Heck, that laydee is a genius. If I had to invite 5 imaginary dinner guests, she would definitely fit the bill; well, only if you do my makeup first Charlotte. K, thanks.

Anyway, Penelope Pink (here) is literally the most subtle yet polished picture perfect pink lip. Moisturising, subtle, far from chalky but yet not too creamy = a dream. I bought this in Harrods a few weeks ago, apparently it's based on Penelope Cruz and is a 'wow go to' lipstick for brunettes. But realistically, it should be a go to for anyone with lips.

Pst. If you're a Harrods rewards card holder, there's a 10% off sale in-store and online this weekend so you can snag this lipstick a liiiitle bit less!

FINALLY - if you have any posts you would like to read, questions or YouTube videos/vlog suggestions that make you think 'hey, Sarah-Louise I would love it if you would....' then please let me know! I would love to hear your feedback. Xo
