May I Introduce You To..

I'm a firm believer in the proverb: good things come to those who wait. Seeing as I've waited approximately 152 days and then some more, it's safe to say I am typing this on a note of absolute elation. 

Today we are in Dublin - home to the famous stout Guinness, the celebrated Temple Bar and the infamous Irish clouds that endlessly spit beads of cool dewy water. With puddles plinking and tufty clouds darkening, a sea of umbrellas soon enveloped the streets of Dublin's fair city. 

Now we've set the scene, you'll see from the pictures I trotted the streets like the cat that procured, opened and promptly devoured the entire carton of cream despite the relentless rain. Why? Because my beautiful baby boy was slinked across my body.

Like most girls, I dream of Chanel. Whilst a small aspect of my personality, it is nonetheless something I love to work for, save for and collect. After months of waiting (and working) I have finally obtained this beauty and I'm a little (pft) in love! 

So, I want to keep this post short and sweet to simply update you with my new baby....boy. I say that because I feel like I'm typing this with such excitement and genuine happiness because I speak to you, as my reader, like a friend. On that note, thank you for reading. For supporting and for following. I wish I could give you a hug and big 'eeeeeeek excited' smile (as I call it), but the internet isn't that advanced....just yet!! 

Anyway - tonight, my feet are reclined. I am running a bath in true hotel tradition, prepping it with my favourite Jo Malone oil (here), lighting my new Diptyque candle (here) and pouring a large glass of chianti. For once, there is no Monday morning to my Sunday evening, and I am truly thankful of that!
