It all began with a lie: coffee is a necessity to be endured, not enjoyed. They say it specifically serves a purpose during our first few weary hours of the day, but 'they' are indeed wrong.
I am far from a coffee connoisseur, but I wholeheartedly enjoy, partake in and support the speciality coffee scene enveloping the streets of Belfast.
Tall chilled windows give out onto the cobbled streets of the Cathedral Quarter, these specific ones play host to the original home of speciality coffee in Northern Ireland (here).
Behind the brewing and beans spills an undying passion from Bridgeen and Mark's fascination with coffee. The passion is what lures me in, I love supporting a business knowing the owners pour their heart and soul into it.

When coffee is done right it's inviting and simple, both in attitude and service. For me, Established perfectly captures this tricky balance.
With a frothy upper lip and a full belly to boot, we trotted homewards in retreat of warmth. I'll admit it's scary carting a Canon around, never mind using it on the streets but as soon as you commit to it, the experience becomes freeing.
Guys, I think the most exciting thing about throwing yourself in front of the lens is building confidence and embracing the fear. I'm sitting here so excited to click 'publish' and welcome you into my journey of navigating a Canon.
