The Spring Lace-ups You Need

The Small Town Girl Belfast Blogger

In my world, the word shoe has never sparked an influx of cupidity. In fact, I would go as far as to classify myself as the opposite of a hoarder of footwear.

However, when all is said and done, it's incredibly hard to resist a pair of on-trend shoes at an irresistible price point. Yeah - I think you know where this is going.

Before we get to the shoe sector, I want to celebrate the fact that despite the arctic winds the sun shone brightly and intensely today in Northern Ireland. Brisk dog walkers donned their coats, parents eagerly wrapped their children in thermals and the rest of us fools sported sunglasses blissfully enjoying each ray of sunshine.

In some respects, I took the foolery to another level by trotting around with toe cleavage. Perhaps a little too early in the season for such exposure, but heck - when that beautiful sun shines, why not?!

In lieu of my trip this weekend to Sydney, I dashed to Zara literally ten minutes before closing and grabbed these beauties. It was an entirely spontaneous shopping trip, further highlighted by the fact the changing rooms were closed and I had to guess what would fit and what wouldn't. Thankfully, these made the cut and fit like a glove.

The only downside? The fact you need to tie the laces yourself, a very small price to pay. If you want to shop the shoes, they're true to size and you can suss them out or immediately add them to your basket here.

Is that the time? Yikes! I must head back upstairs to the confines of my room as my unpacked suitcase awaits, seriously eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. I am going to the OTHER side of the world! Albeit, only for 3 weeks and not for the foreseeable future but dang, I do love an adventure.

Thank you for your kind messages wishing me safe travels, I seriously appreciate every single word. Now, I'll catch you on the other side of the hemisphere. Eep! Xo
