Five Fabulously Priced Airbnb's

Packed with history, art, diverse culture and natural beauty, Europe challenges the traveler with its density of riches. Unfortunately, it often comes at a hefty price.

Whilst I love a truly fantastic hotel, I also love to explore on a whim and on a budget. The question is, why should we compromise on style?

Here's a list of five beautiful Airbnb's worth considering. Contemporary, convenient and you won't find yourself too out of pocket.

Airbnb is a true voyagers paradise.

1. Location: Madrid  |  Price: £45-53 per night  |  Book it: here

Madrid, often hailed the city for foreigners; with 17th Century plazas lined with tapas bars and cafes, to full blown buzzing flamenco clubs, the city is adored by the friendly locals and appreciated by tourists alike.

There's something about this quaint little apartment that continuously catches my eye. Yes, it is small. Okay, compact is the word we'll go for but it also embodies an element of spontaneity and whimsical fun.

Newly refurbished and perched in Madrid's trendy Malasaña, your apartment comes with exclusive access to a quaint communal courtyard where you can park your bike and relax with a cortado in hand.

Basically, it's the perfect last minute - heck, I just grabbed £40pp return flights with RyanAir kind of accommodation. Fun, last minute and simply charming!

2. Location: Nice  |  Price: £98 per night  |  Book it: here

Nestled on the Southern coast of France, Nice has firmly crowned herself as the unofficial capital of the French Riviera. Think pastel terra cotta buildings, palm-lined boulevards and the strong Mediterranean sunshine reflecting off the blue waters of the Baie des Anges.

In a nutshell, it's paradise.

On the flip side, the prices are often extortionate. As someone who has stayed in the South of France, I can attest to the fact that a lot of their 5 star hotels simply don't live up to the ridiculous price tags.

This gem of an apartment is incredibly polished for the price tag. The bedroom is off-putting to some but I love how the owner has seemlessly incorporated the bathroom into the bedroom. I know, you're like - the heck, the shower is behind the bed? Yes, I know but it is so unique which makes the experience so fun and memorable!

Wanna hear something cool? You'll step out of your apartment onto the beautiful streets pictured above. Tucked above an art gallery with a fresh flower market on your doorstep AND you're a mere 50m from the glistening turquoise blue sea. Bliss!

Ps. If you fancy forking out a smidgen more (£203 per night), then check this absolutely stunning spot out in Cannes: here

Yes, it is somewhat heavenly!

3. Location: Paris  |  Price: £179 per night  |  Book it: here

Paris needs no introduction, it simply is what it is. C'est comme ça.

Graceful and iconically romantic, she is the mothership of France for many a well deserved reason. The city of lights belongs to the stroller, the dreamer, the artist and adventurer.

With such status also comes big bucks and equally bigger hotel bills. If you want to avoid but indulge in something special, you're in the right place.

Slap bang in the famous Le Marais lies this nugget of charm. The courtyard leads to an apartment lined with simply breathtaking French windows, my heart beats a little quicker as I stare at them imagining myself resting on the window seats reading with an espresso in hand.

The price for Camille's apartment is fantastic for Paris. If you browse booking.com for five minutes you'll soon see it's hard to nab a hotel of this calibre with a fantastic price-tag.

C'est incroyable!

4. Location: Amalfi  |  Price: £67-171 per night  |  Book it: here

This absolute sweetheart of an apartment sits quaintly in the stunningly underrated town of Atrani, a short 10-15minute walk to Amalfi. Tucked away from urban traffic, this historic town is simply enchanting.

I mean, breathtakingly enchanting. This beautiful town boasts a picture perfect beach which is reached by navigating your way through the intricate maze of ancient houses that practically lie on top of each other. It sounds messy, it sounds confusing but it's typically Italian and in true Italian style, it is typically stunning.

The kitchen makes my heart happy. So traditional, so boldly Italian: it reminds me of my months spent living in Italy as an au pair. My eyes rest on this photo as my mind drifts to the smells and sounds of a bustling Italian kitchen, a true sight to behold, trust me!

A huge thank you to the lovely Eva (here) who has stayed here and recommended this spot to me. I'm currently trying to persuade my other half to come with me, if you fancy joining in on this campaign please lobby for team Atrani!

5. Location: Florence  |  Price: £130-146 per night  |  Book it: here

Finally, last but certainly not least. Prepare yourself. Prepare your heart, and prepare your passport. It's Florence, known to locals as Firenze. You'll find some of the most famous art in the world (Michelingelo, Botticelli et all) in this irresistible landmark. Stroll through the myriad of cobbled streets, stop and smell the fresh flowers, shop until you can shop no more and naturally, enjoy the Tuscan food and wine.

Florence has been on my bucket list for years. I've dreamed of venturing to Italy, exploring her in her purest form and one day venturing to a rustic Tuscan Vineyard to taste wine as the sun sets. Hey, I'm a romantic!

Heart pangs and dreams aside, this loft is sensational. If you stay here, uhhm please invite me. You'll notice it has been featured in a plethora of magazines, one of them being Elle Decor. If it's good enough for the professionals, then it's good enough for us!

Firenze in all of her splendour. A sight to behold and a true sight to savour.

You guys know I absolutely love to travel, to see the world and to immerse myself in many cultures, so I absolutely loved bringing this post to you. I've gathered up a huge wish list of various Airbnb's, some of seriously awesome low budgets and others for someone looking to stay somewhere quirky and truly memorable.

Basically, I'll be bringing you more posts of this nature focusing on specific cities and specific budgets. I hope you guys enjoy and thank you so much for being so wonderful!
