What's inside my travel handbag
When it comes to traveling I always aim to be the chic, organised girl with one heck of a compartmentalised bag. Reality kicks in, I realize I own more possessions than a storage company and struggle to comprehend how I'll begin to select what makes the cut and what doesn't.
My bag of choice? For longer trips, I reach for my Louis Vuitton Neverfull in the size GM (here), which is the largest of the three available sizes (PM, MM & GM).
Er, where are you going? I'm just home from London after using my Chanel jumbo as my go to bag. Now tomorrow I'm flying to Tenerife for one week, the flight is roughly four hours meaning I want to carry a lot more on board. Go on, I'll show you then!
My beauty essentials consist of:
Nars bronzer (here) & a full face brush to give my cheeks a flush of bronze after a long flight.
Charlotte Tilbury flawless finish (here) to remove grease and set makeup followed by the filmstar bronze and glow compact (here) to sculpt my cheekbones and add a subtle pop of life to my face. This highlighter sculpts & lifts my face like no other. Trust me, I ain't exaggerating.
La Mer concealer (here), it's light in coverage but effective and importantly, it doesn't crease. Yes, she conceals well yet beautifully brightens below my eyes especially when I'm already wearing makeup. A true essential.
Optrex eye drops (here), whilst I wear glasses when flying I find no matter how hard I try, my eyes dry out. Blegh. In truth, I would be lost without these drops of life.
Jo Malone White Jasmine & Mint cologne (here). I always pack a compact scent and this beauty is my perfume of choice for tomorrows adventure. I love to quickly spritz in order to lift my mood (and scent game) before I step off the plane.
Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Hepburn Honey (here). Subtle and luxurious, with one application it instantly gives me a polished 'just finished my makeup' look.
Other must pack items:
Chloe sunglasses (here), because I'm gonna step out of that airport and waltz straight into sunshine mode.
Louis Vuitton Sarah purse (here) & passport holder (here), both in azur. Well, I wouldn't get far without them.
Ibuprofen, in the strongest form possible as you never know when pain will strike. 40,000ft in the air with no pain relief is not a fun place to be!
A soft lambs wool scarf is truly a necessity for me as nine times out of ten, I'm freezing on a flight so a scarf doubles up as a snug compact blanket.
My portable iPhone/iPad charger. Where would I be without this awesome piece of technology?! I carry it everywhere with me when traveling or sightseeing far from the convenience of a plug. If you don't have one, you n-e-e-d one!
Anyway, all that's left now is to unpack my suitcase aaaaand pack my new suitcase. Yikes. Did I mention I went to see Star Wars tonight as opposed to sensibly packing? Priorities. Ps. Yes it's awesome, and life is short so why not. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
